Meet the Doctor

Dr. Stephanie Huth Lipnicki, DACM, LAc

I like to treat a variety of conditions, but my favorite treatments are gynecological issues, and I especially love using Acupuncture and Herbs as well as adjunct modalities in the treatment of endometriosis. I love using Cosmetic Acupuncture and Aesthetics to help people look and feel their best naturally. Additionally I love helping patients with anxiety, depression, and emotional well-being- which also often coincide with having endometriosis.

And with a LOT of years as a Massage Therapist under my belt - I am pretty kick a$$ at managing back pain.

I started out on this path by accident when the stepmom of the guy I was dating in High School suggested I go to school for Massage Therapy - since at the time I wanted to be a Physical Therapist. On a whim, and much to my parents' dismay at the time, I started my Massage Therapy education in 1990 while simultaneously finishing my senior year of high school. (Yup - I have pretty much always been overly ambitious). My instructor was an Acupuncturist and we had to read the book The Web that has No Weaver by Ted Kapchuk. IT CHANGED MY LIFE. Although this wasn’t my first exposure to Acupuncture, my mom went to an Acupuncturist when I was a kid, so Massage School wasn’t the first time I heard about Acupuncture.

I graduated from Health Choices Center for the Healing Arts in 1991. After working for a year in a Spa, and starting my College Education, I decided to continue my education at The Garden State Center for Holistic Health Care in order to be eligible to take The National Certification in Massage and Bodywork.  I completed both in 1993.

In 1994, I formed Natural Alternatives (and later added “Center for Wellness” to encompass all the things I envisioned to come). I knew someday it would be more than me practicing Massage Therapy, and knowing I would continue my education in methods that would continue helping people on their path to wellness, the name fit in that it would encompass additional methods and could grow with me.

In 1999, I completed my Bachelor's in Nutritional Science/ Dietetics at Rutgers University.

In 2000 I added Skin Care to my repertoire of tools, completing Aesthetics at Capri Institute and receiving my NJ Skin Care License. I have been a licensed Aesthetician since 2000.

In 2001 I FINALLY began my training at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (now Pacific College of Health and Science), studying Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. This gave me a second Bachelor's in Professional Studies and Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.

In the Spring of 2019 I completed my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (again now Pacific College of Health and Science) through their San Diego campus.

I like to combine my vast knowledge of Acupuncture and Skin Care to optimize the results of Mei Zen treatments. In addition to being a Preferred Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture Practitioner, I have had the honor of assisting Dr Martha Lucas, the founder and developer of the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System and the Lucas Pulse Diagnosis Method, in her teachings throughout the country.

I am pretty sure I will NEVER stop learning new things!

If you have read this far, and you are excited to work with someone who is a little witchy, a little bitchy, definitely goes with the more is more vibe, is full of f*cks, and that the whole town thinks is nuts on your path to wellness - I am equally excited and cannot wait to help guide you on your journey and path to wellness.

I grew up in Edison, NJ but I have called Allentown, NJ home for the last 23 years.

I have 3 teenage children I have raised while completing a good portion of my schooling and maintaining my business. The kids are my whole world.

When I am not needling or hanging with my children, I LOVE to dance (especially Tap and Belly Dancing), swimming, reading, and painting or pretty much anything crafty.

Caring, thorough, professional, friendly, honest... there just aren't enough words to describe Stephanie and her practice. I have been a patient for over a year, she’s given me an alternative to traditional medicines. My regular MDs agree that this is a good alternative if I feel improvement.”
