Fibroblast Skin Tightening

I often use the phrase ‘those who know me, know I am always trying to learn new things,’ and if you don’t know me now you know this about me or some variation of those words.

Fibroblast Skin Tightening on Forehead immediately after procedure.

I started working on learning Fibroblast Skin Tightening training more than 6 months ago.

I have found that in the last two years, with Covid being a constant presence though, I am SOOOOOOO distracted and have probably at least 10 things I am in the process of learning.

I finally finished the practice trials using the Plasma Pen, as the device is referred to, on oranges (that’s what they have you practice on) a few weeks ago (see below). And over Labor Day weekend I decided to make Andrew the guinea pig as well as myself for human practice.

The top picture if of my forehead. The ‘carbon crusts’ as the dots are referred to take about 5-7 days to heal. Below I have included my orange trials just because they are so adorbs.

The end result of any of the cosmetic treatments I offer is more firm skin as well as fewer lines and wrinkles.

A bit about Plasma Fibroblast Treatment: (Summarized from the training textbook)

Plasma Fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical technique that uses a small electric arc transmitted through the applicator OVER the skin. The treated skin coagulates and evaporates, which is superficial ‘damage’ to the skin surface (the epidermis). Heat then transfers to the lower layers of skin (the dermis) which triggers a healing response during which it increases the collagen and elastin production.

After the treatment small marks (referred to as carbon crusts) remain behind on the skin for 5-7 days. During the healing period, you use specific products for home care that protect the skin and aid in the healing process.

What can be treated:

Most popular treatments:

• Upper/lower eyelids

• Brow lift

• Nose contouring

• Lip augmentation

• Acne scar reduction • Skin Tag removal

Wrinkles:

• Worry lines

• Crows feet

• Smile lines

• Labial lines

• Forehead lines

Skin tightening and lifting:

• Belly tightening • Neck tightening • Jaw lifting

• Breast lifting

• Knee tightening • Hands tightening

Skin rejuvenation:

• Stretch marks rejuvenation

• Scar rejuvenation

• Full face rejuvenation

Similar to Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling/ Nanoneedling in that these are the advantages of this nonsurgical treatment.

  • NO injectable anesthetic is required,

  • NO cutting of the skin,

  • NO stitches,

  • NO bleeding (occasionally with cosmetic acupuncture there can be minimal bleeding)

  • NO bruises (occasionally with cosmetic acupuncture there can be some slight bruising)

  • NO thinning of the skin,

  • Very low-risk procedure (minimal risk),

  • Minimal side effects and far less downtime is required,

  • Quick and easy procedure,

  • Significant cost-saving method as compared to surgical techniques

How can you decide which treatments are best that I now know?

Prevention is key. Personally I looked to this technique to ENHANCE the tools I already have. I noticed on myself there were a few lines and wrinkles on my forehead that I wanted to minimize, but I wasn’t getting exactly what I wanted from the combo of Cosmetic Acupuncture with Micro and Nanoneedling.

Maximum results from Plasma Fibroblast treatment takes approximately 6 weeks and sometimes requires a follow up treatment. This depends on what the main concerns are, sun damage, age, smoking history etc. BUT you will see significant results just from the first treatment.

Results last 2-3 years (similar to Cosmetic Acupuncture). BUT I recommended using Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling, as well as regular facials and glycolic peels, AND most importantly a home skin care routine that includes a phenomenal SPF to prevent future sun damage and maintain optimal results.

This is perfect as an alternative to invasive surgical procedures, the toxicity of botox, and a method to achieve healthy looking skin naturally.

I look forward to helping you on the path to wellness naturally!
